Starter Practice
Rusch Pool
Start: 6:30 PM
End: 9:30 PM

**Please make sure your swimmer attends this practice!**

With Time Trials on Saturday, May 2nd, the coaches would like the swimmers to practice "starting", in the manner which is used during meets. This entails the setting up of the timing system and starting buzzer, as well as the scoreboard. The swimmers will practice, during their normal practice time, following the direction of the meet starter; there is a sequence of whistles and the swimmers will learn what each whistle is telling them. They will have the option to start off the blocks if they are comfortable with it. The starter will announce "take your mark", then will start the race by sounding the buzzer. This practice will let the swimmers experience what they will do during meets; to alleviate confusion and to expose them to the starting process. If you don't know about starter, blocks, or are confused in any way, come to this practice!

Not only does this benefit the swimmer, it benefits the volunteers who use the equipment during home meets. This is the first day we take everything out of the shed since last season. This is an opportunity to make sure everything is still working, fix what needs fixing, and to refresh our brains :-)

    Team Suit Ordering
    Start: 12:00 AM
    End: 10:00 PM

Our team has setup “bulk ordering” for our families to receive a discount for expedited shipping to ensure orders arrive before Time Trials. We have two designs to choose from, and many suit style options! There’s also swim bags, parkas, flip flops, sweaters and towels.

Please use the sizing chart when ordering suits, if you need help measuring, please reach out, we’re happy to help. Suits should be snug fitting, this is to prevent drag that makes your swimmer work harder than needed. For girls, shoulder straps should not lift past their ear lobe. For boys, it should be secure around their waist.

All order will be delivered to the team and dispersed the Thursday before Time Trials.
Checkout our team store and place your order by tapping HERE.

    Mon Mar 30

    Parent Meeting
    Rusch Park - Patio Room
    Start: 6:30 PM
    End: 7:30 PM

The parent meeting is to go over information for the season, including new changes for the team and meeting the coaching staff. An email will be sent out with detailed information on the season, please read it before the meeting to prepare yourself for any questions you may have, as we intend to keep this meeting-with questions, to no more than an hour. We understand it can be overwhelming for new families and recognize it's a lot of information to take in all at once. It's helpful to flag the email so you can easily refer back to it as needed. Additionally, the season information email will be available on the team website to refer back to anytime throughout the season.

We are meeting BEFORE the first day of practice, swimmers are welcome to attend, but we will not be providing access to the pool or supervision during the parent meeting. If families still need to complete registration, there will be time to do so at the conclusion of the meeting. As a reminder, a completed registration is required prior to your swimmer being allowed to enter the water for practice. We strongly encourage all families to complete their registration prior to April 1st so their swimmer doesn't miss the first day of practice.
