Champs Weekend is Here!
The following is an abridged meet sheet containing the most important information, taken from the 2026 Eureka Conference Championships information packet. Please open the attached info packet to view parking/team area/pool maps, snack bar menu, and detailed information for this weekend.
We are looking forward to a great weekend of swimming at the Eureka Conference Champs at American River College. The Champs Info packet is full of the details you will need for the weekend, and we encourage you to read it thoroughly. Additionally, we’d like to remind all of a few important points to help make this weekend go as swimmingly as possible:
- No setup in planter areas-if its has bark or rocks, it’s a NO
- Keep main walk ways clear-facility staff must be able to get thru all areas
- No entering buildings-even if unlocked, only building that requires entry is for the girls locker room
- Stay within event designated areas-team area, vendor area and pool deck. Please do not wander around campus
- Do not play in locker rooms
- Do not throw rocks
- Do not play in large decorative fountains
- Please be respectful to staff and facility
Hope everyone has a great Champs!
Set-up –
- Friday- 4:00pm-6:00pm is when we will set up the pool deck. The pool deck must be set-up first, followed by the team tents! DO NOT SET UP YOUR FAMILY AREA BEFORE THE DECK AND TEAM AREAS ARE READY. THE MEET DIRECTOR WILL LET US KNOW WHEN THE FAMILY AREA CAN BE SET UP.It is very inconsiderate and poor form to set up your family tent whilst the deck and team areas are being set-up. If you get there before the deck is ready, please step up and give a hand.
- Friday- 6:00pm-7:00pm – Family tent area can be set-up. No alcohol or smoking, vaping, marijuana use, etc. - grounds for removal from the meet. Again - Team area set up Friday 6pm but only AFTER deck set up is complete. Meet Director will give the okay for team area setup to begin at 6:00pm or after the completion of deck set up. Anyone setting up team area prior will be asked to remove their belongings and wait until the meet director gives the okay. Team area set up closes Friday at 7pm. No tarps or tents with tarp bottoms on the ground at all. Breathable carpeting or towels are ok. They must be picked up off the ground at night.
- Pop-ups can be left overnight but must be lowered. HIGHLY recommend weighing popups down. Not recommended to leave anything of value.
- No dogs, skateboards, or bicycles are allowed in the facility.
- Clean up after yourselves.
- While it is recommended to set-up on Friday, you may set-up on Saturday in whatever spots are available in the Sunrise Area. See attached map.
Parking-
Parking is Free! But will be limited to the parking garage and large lot next to the football stadium. See attached map.
- NO PARKING in any staff lots or spaces. Anyone parked there will be subject to ticketing and towing without notice, and at their own expense. Parking in the garage and large lot in front of the football stadium are the only approved parking areas. See attached map.
- No drop off or unloading in front or behind pool.
